Classification Criteria for Gout

"Gout is a curable disease and it's really important to diagnosis it as soon as we can," says Dr. Fields. "Gradually, we’re developing better diagnostic criteria that allow us to make a clear diagnosis of gout even in cases where we don't have the crystal."
