NHL.com reports that the Tampa Bay Lightening announced forward Ryan Callahan had a surgical procedure on his right hip by Bryan T. Kelly, MD, chief of Sports Medicine and Shoulder Service at Hospital for Special Surgery.
Callahan is considered out indefinitely as he recovers. He is in his fourth season with the Lightening.
