In a recent publication of the Paramus Daily Voice, Dee Dee Wu, MD, a rheumatologist at Hospital for Special Surgery, explains what individuals need to know about rheumatoid arthritis (RA) in a two-part series.

Dr. Wu explains in a Q&A response that "RA is an autoimmune disorder characterized by joint inflammation, which can lead to progressive joint damage, deformities and disability if left untreated."
