Regardless of what the Mets do this offseason in free agency or trades, the success of their 2015 lineup will depend significantly on the health and productivity of David Wright.
The Mets followed up with a statement confirming Wright had been examined during the week at Hospital for Special Surgery by Dr. David Altchek and was found to have made "marked improvement" in the area.
The statement said Wright is on target to begin baseball activity next month.
