Surgery for Flores

Bob Dutton includes an injury update on Triple-A Tacoma outfielder, Ramon Flores, in his roundup of Seattle Mariners news. Flores was scheduled to undergo surgery to repair a fractured and dislocated right ankle.

Dr. David S. Levine, foot and ankle surgeon at HSS who did not treat Flores, said, "For this type of injury, the typical recovery timeline is to begin movement at two weeks, begin walking at six weeks and begin elliptical or stationary bike activity at six weeks."
