New Employee Onboarding

Pre-Employment Physical Appointment

You should have been scheduled to complete your pre-employment processing with Human Resources (HR) and Occupational Health Services (OHS). If not, please contact the Human Resources Department to schedule a time to do so. You must be cleared by HR and OHS prior to your first day of employment at HSS.

You are required to bring proof of your current immigration status (see instructions on the I-9 form) and credentials, including all applicable diploma, certifications and degrees when you arrive for your pre-employment physical.

Your hospital-required photo ID will be taken after completion of your pre-employment physical. You will receive your photo ID on your first day of work.

Occupational Health

Please bring with you copies of any lab results including titers or other medical testing done prior to your appointment at OHS when you visit to Occupational Health for your pre-employment physical.

This will assist OHS in expediting your medical clearance which is required for you to begin working at HSS.

If you are benefits Eligible you will receive information on how to login in the Benefits Administration website. Through this website you will be able to:

  • Make your benefit elections
  • Review detailed information on each of the benefit plans offered
  • Name beneficiaries for Life Insurance
  • Find links to benefit vendor websites
