Healthcare Immersion Program
Now accepting applications for 2026
The Healthcare Immersion Program (HIP) is a two-day, hands-on, immersive program at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) designed to expose high school students from underrepresented backgrounds to the field of healthcare and the future career opportunities it can offer.
Curriculum
Students will be exposed to:
- Simulated patient interactions
- Procedural skills demonstration
- Hands-on practice
- High fidelity crisis simulation
- Hospital tour
- CPR training and certification
- Q&A with healthcare professionals
2026 Program Details
Saturday, March 14, 2026: 8:00 am – 4pm
Sunday, March 15, 2026: 8:00 am – 12pm
