My family has long regarded HSS as a world-class hospital. Both of my parents underwent multiple surgeries there and achieved outstanding outcomes, so I began this journey with the highest expectations. Even so, the level of skill, compassion, professionalism, and personalized care I received exceeded anything I could have imagined.

This photo was taken just hours after my surgery, as I took my first steps. It serves as a powerful reminder of the remarkable expertise, encouragement, and support provided by Dr. Gausden and the entire HSS team. It is difficult to put into words how incredible it felt to be up and moving so soon after such a life-changing procedure.

Only five weeks have passed since my surgery, yet I already feel as though I have been given a new lease on life. The improvement in my mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life has been truly remarkable. Activities that once seemed difficult or painful now feel possible again, and I look forward to the future with renewed confidence and optimism.

There are simply no words that can fully express my appreciation for the care I received. Dr. Gausden and her team not only performed an outstanding surgery, but also treated me with kindness, respect, and genuine compassion throughout every step of the process.
