Several years ago, I developed arthritis in my knee. After seeing a few orthopedic doctors, I met with Dr. McLawhorn and decided he was the doctor for me. After having x-rays and an MRI, he explained everything about knee replacement surgery in an easy to understand and thorough manner. When I finally decided to have the surgery, Dr. McLawhorn knew I was nervous and reassured me and introduced his team. When I woke up, I felt fine and comfortable. The nursing staff was great. I stayed overnight and left in the morning. Three days later, I was able to walk up and down a flight of stairs to the bedroom.

I saw Dr. McLawhorn in his office two weeks later, and all was well. If my other knee requires surgery, I will definitely call Dr. McLawhorn. He is kind, knowledgeable, and a wonderful surgeon.
