My experience with HSS was nothing short of amazing. I was able to get in to see a doctor quickly when I started to develop leg pain and numbness that quickly progressed to weakness. My case was escalated quickly to the care of Dr. Andrew Sama, who was able to treat my condition with surgery (L5-S1 spinal fusion) just in time to get married a short 3 months after. Now, 2 years later, my back feels good as new and I attribute it to the excellent and efficient care and communication through everyone I interacted with at HSS.
