If I had to have knee replacement surgery, I wanted the best place in the world and that’s HSS. I researched the best doctor that HSS had and found him in Dr. McLawhorn. Dr. McLawhorn took the time to explain the surgery and recovery and every question that I had. His paperwork that he gave me to read put my mind at ease and I knew exactly what to expect and what my responsibilities were to make everything successful.

Post-surgery couldn’t have gone better. I no longer have any pain in my knee. I’m walking between 3 and 4 miles a day, playing pickleball and playing golf. By the way, HSS Orthopedics at Stamford Hospital may be the nicest, well run hospital in the USA. Much thanks to Dr. McLawhorn and all of his staff for making my surgery a huge complete success!
