I am a retired healthcare worker who worked in the field for almost 50 years. I was in need of a knee replacement for quite some time, but put it off as long as I could. My good friend had used Dr. McLawhorn and his results were so impressive that I chose him also. From the moment he became my doctor for my impending surgery. Dr. McLawhorn and his team were amazingly competent, organized and helpful. I have never seen a hospital where every employee I met was happy to work there. I had a conversation with the charge nurse overnight and he said that when you’re treated with respect and well compensated, you tend to be happy at your job and work diligently for the organization. Well done HSS! I have been able to return to all my normal activities and was even able to begin skiing again after about eight months. I feel like I got a second lease on my life.
