I had ACL reconstruction Surgery in 1988 as a result of a rugby injury. I continued playing rugby for more than 20 years totally abusing my reconstructed ACL and knee. After years of limping around with pain and a deformed leg I went to HSS and had my knee replaced in December 2021 by Dr. Brian Chalmers. I had a fast recovery and I was soon on my bicycle and elliptical machine. I was playing golf 5 months post-surgery. I have no pain or discomfort and I wish I had the procedure done sooner. Dr. Chalmers was great and I highly recommend him as a surgeon.
