Zara Hassan

I am so grateful to Dr. Han Jo Kim and the entire team at HSS for the excellent care and treatment that my daughter, Zara Hassan, received. When we first met with Dr. Kim, Zara was struggling with a 65 degree curve in her spine that was causing her a great deal of discomfort and concern. Despite our initial fears and concerns, Dr. Kim and the team at HSS were able to correct Zara's curve almost to perfection and give her a straight back.

The International Services team at HSS was also incredibly helpful in assisting us with the special permission we needed from the US Embassy in the UK to enter the US during COVID restrictions. Their support and guidance made the process of obtaining this permission much easier and less stressful for us.

One year on, Zara is fit, well, and living a normal life, free from any concerns or limitations. She is preparing for university admission, just like any other 16-year-old, and we couldn't be happier with the results of her surgery and the care she received at HSS.
