I came to Dr. Gregory DiFelice for a 2nd opinion. He had already reviewed my MRI before my visit and he confirmed I needed rotator cuff surgery. I went to HSS on December 4, 2020 and from start to finish everything was great. I immediately started physical therapy. I never realized this was going to be such a long recovery. I went to Dr. DiFelice for follow ups and he would reassure me that I would get better and be pain-free, but as the months went on I was getting more and more discouraged. My physical therapist told me the same thing. He told me once I got my range of motion back the pain would go away. After 7 months of intensive PT, both Dr. DiFelice and my physical therapist were right. If you need this surgery HSS and Dr. DiFelice are what you need.
