Hello, I am a 57-year-old man. I'm 6'1 and 290 lbs, so I am on the bigger side. I had terrible debilitating left knee arthritis I had many prior surgeries as a result of being bone on bone since I was basically 13-years-old. It's been a lifelong battle of pain. I was told over 20 years ago that I needed total knee replacement. I refused to even entertain the thought of such a surgery and it all ended up being irrational fear. Not only did Dr. Parks do a successful total knee replacement, he straightened my leg out as well as my life out. I am 4 weeks post-op and so happy I could just go on and on about this surgery and how life-changing it truly is. So if you're like me and you have a fear of getting a knee replacement and you're living a miserable life of being in horrible pain, don't hesitate another day.
