Dr. David Dines and HSS gave me back a life that is pain-free and with full use of my shoulder. Prior to my total shoulder replacement I was in constant pain, I could not sleep well, and my shoulder movement was extremely limited. My entire experience at HSS was exceptional. Dr. Dines was exceptional. Everyone with whom I had contact at HSS epitomized professionalism. They were all kind, caring, and concerned. At all times I was made to feel that I was the only patient in their care. I have sung the praises of both Dr. Dines and HSS to the point that a good friend, a plastic surgeon, has said he almost wants to break something just so he can be treated at HSS. Dr. Dines and HSS are the best and I can not thank them enough. Dr. Dines operated on me on a Friday at 1:30 PM and I was home the next day at 2:00 PM. I was back to work performing clerical type duties on Monday just three days after a total right shoulder replacement. Everything Dr. Dines told me to expect was exactly what happened.
