Baruch Pelcovitz

My surgery was on July 15, 2015. I remember the process vividly: From injury to procrastination to doctor visits to surgery and then healing. It was overwhelming as it was my first surgery. I was 32-years-old at the time and did not know what to expect. I was a regular recreational basketball obsessed person. The thought of being sidelined due to my injury was stressful and depressing.

Dr. Cordasco was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was very educational. His professional demeanor allowed me to feel at ease. I believed it would take months to heal and that I would never be the same.

It is now 4+ years and my shoulder is better than ever. I was told my shoulder "has aged" and would be equivalent to a "65-year-old shoulder" (now 69). Must be a very strong 69-year-old because it's as strong as it could be. I play ball and ski regularly.

I thank Dr. Cordasco for that. Looking forward to fixing my other shoulder :)
