I am an Emergency Department RN. I got hurt while vacationing in Jamaica doing touristy things. I came home with Central Cord Syndrome and several herniated discs in my cervical spine. I was having neurological deficits from both the cord injury and compression from the herniation. I did not want to have surgery but I was put on restrictions by my local neurologist. I sought many opinions from orthopedic spine specialists trying to avoid the inevitable. The moment I stepped into Dr Qureshi’s office I knew I had found the guy who was going to fix me and give me my life back. He is an amazing surgeon but more importantly he is a warm and caring person. He is available night and day to answer question or just offer words of encouragement. He and his staff go above and beyond - for this I will always be grateful.
