Having been diagnosed with scoliosis at age 13 I was unaware of complications that could appear during the aging process. At 50 my scoliosis had shifted drastically, my walking severely hampered, the pain excruciating and my ability to function on the job and in life was impossible. My internet sleuthing skills brought me to Dr. Schwab of which I am truly grateful. Not only did Dr. Schwab explain my procedure in a manner that was understandable his confidence assured me of his ability. Dr. Schwab surrounds himself with a staff of wonderful human beings, all who care immensely about the process working smoothly and your personal care. A special thanks to Debra Jacobs and Dorata who never ceased to treat me with great care and kindness. So, here I am almost 7 years out of surgery and I am back at the University teaching my vocal students, singing when I can and functioning very well. I am grateful that I can walk well and still appreciate that my body can function well so I can enjoy life to the fullest. Thank you Dr. Schwab, you are a true healer but more than that, you are a magnificent human being!
