It took me a while to build up the courage to have the surgery but Dr. Haas was great! He assured me it was time and I have never looked back. Before my surgery it was painful to walk any distance whatsoever (I used to be a competitive runner). Although post-surgery I chose not to run, I can walk and bike all day with no pain and zero swelling. During rehab (done in VA) my physical therapists were amazed at my range of motion and quick recovery. When anyone tells me they are looking into knee replacement surgery, I recommend Dr. Haas. He is the absolute best!
