This has been a positive experience from the beginning. Dr. Inglis and his staff are top notch and made me feel very comfortable. Surgery and my stay at HSS couldn't have gone better. The staff was very helpful, especially about my minor difficulties with the pain meds. Rehab went very well (Hands On Physical Therapy) and their staff was quite impressed with the extent of my recovery (full extension and 145 bend), the ease of movement of the new knee, and the almost non-existent scar. My surgery was in April and in June I walked on the beach without pain. In August I actually went into the ocean for the first time in about five years. I can stroll on the boardwalk with my grandchildren for hours. I spent the day in NYC in July walking for several hours with no pain. Looking forward to riding a bike again in October when we visit relatives in Hilton Head. I've recommended HSS to everyone considering orthopedic surgery. If you need something done, this is the place to go. Thanks to everyone!
