I first went to a local doctor and was very impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the office. My shoulder was examined and I was told to ice and rest it and return in 2 weeks. He was sure it would be fine. Came back. Ordered physical therapy. A month later, pain worse. I requested an MRI which he granted although he didn't think it necessary. Report showed full thickness tear, but the doctor said it was a medium tear and to stop PT.
I MADE AN APPOINTMENT WITH DR. RUSSELL WARREN FOR A SECOND OPINION. Wow, what a great doctor! Thorough exam. Reviewed MRI images and immediately knew what to recommend. Because of Dr. Russell, I have a new lease on life. I am eternally grateful. Worth the taxi fare into Manhattan many times over.
