I was first diagnosed with scoliosis when I was fourteen years old, and I was immediately referred to Dr. Blanco. For two years, we went back and forth debating having surgery, and eventually it came to the point where surgery seemed necessary. I had my surgery in the summer of 2016. While I was extremely scared going into it, Dr. Blanco did an excellent job and took all measures to make sure that my recovery would be as smooth as possible. He is very skilled and I am beyond grateful that the surgery was so successful due to his expertise. I am a swimmer and I resumed swimming just two months after surgery.
