From the moment I walked in the door, I felt special! I was so scared, but in so much pain and numbness in my back and leg, that I finally had to do something about it.
When I awoke from surgery, although I was in pain from the surgery, I knew the pain was different. The pain I had come in with and had turned me into a handicapped person was gone.
Dr. Shwab and his team, especially his nurse practitioner were available for any questions or concerns I had. The nursing staff and all who helped me were great!
Dr. Schwab is an amazing surgeon and he makes you feel part of the project. He made me feel like a person, not a body part!
I am walking a lot and getting back to my life. I am so excited again and happy to be a fully functioning person. I'm only 2 months out of surgery and I am recovering so well. I have more and more moments of NO PAIN- omg- it's so amazing!
