When I was 19 years old and playing college hockey, I was hit into the boards and tore the labrum in my right shoulder. After visiting with local doctors, I went to see a specialist in Dr. John D. MacGillivray. Dr. MacGillivray instantly was able to diagnose the issue and quickly was able to perform the necessary surgical procedure to have me back on the ice in the shortest time possible. He answered any question I had and was as professional as possible throughout the process.

Four years later, while diving for a ball playing softball I instantly felt the same sensation in my left shoulder. I knew immediately to call Dr. MacGillivray and have him diagnose the issue. Dr. MacGillivray repaired the SLAP tear in my left shoulder and once again has me back on the field. He is outstanding and so is the entire HSS experience, I could not be more appreciative of their efforts and their commitment to excellence.
