Shoulder Pain Causes, Conditions and Treatments

My name is Robert Braccia and I am 54 years old. I first came to HSS back in December of 2011 as I was having issues with my left shoulder. This was the same shoulder that in January of that year, I had my first surgery in my home town of Staten Island, NY. Obviously, it did not heal properly, so I did some research and I saw that Dr. Riley Williams specialized in shoulder replacement on athletes (not that I consider myself an athlete). While I do stay active by playing competitive baseball, golf and lifting weights, my shoulder aliments was causing me not to do the things I enjoy. I made an appointment and right away I was seen by Dr. Riley and within a month, the surgery was scheduled and performed. Fast forward to today 2015; I am back playing baseball, my golf game has improved, I am now a 21 handicap and I am back in the gym on regular basis.
