Kyle Dickerson

I had to get labrum surgery right before my senior year of baseball was about to start. My surgery date was February 17, 2015 and the season started on April 1, 2015. I had gotten the surgery and missed the opening scrimmages and the first 13 games of the season. I returned to playing on April 27, 2015. This was just 9 weeks after getting the surgery. In my return I batted leadoff for my team and had 28 hits in 19 games. My team went on to win the Group 3 State Championship where I went 2-2 with 2 walks and 3 runs scored. I am so thankful that I went to Hospital for Special Surgery because the first doctor I went to wanted to keep me out of the whole baseball season. HSS changed my life and gave me the opportunity to play my senior year of baseball and play in my upcoming year of Collegiate Football at the College of Albright.
