I had a history of osteomyelitis in my left femur and had a flare up in 1999. My whole left leg was swollen and I had a 103 temperature. My primary doctor in Connecticut sent me to HSS' emergency room. I was greeted by Dr. Lane and he said "You're a sick pup and don't worry, we'll take care of you."
