I had severe bunions in both feet and kept injuring myself running and exercising. I had the lapidus procedure in my right foot in June of 2013 and on my left foot in April 2014. I ran a half marathon 9 months after the first surgery, and a second half marathon 9 months after the second surgery. My feet are perfect and I have absolutely no issues despite having 3 screws in each foot!
