I'd had severe shoulder pain in my right shoulder for quite some time. Dr. Answorth Allen diagnosed a bone spur, torn rotator cuff & ruptured tendons. He performed surgery. I was in a restrictive sling for 6 weeks then had 3 months of PT. The surgery was a total success and Dr. Allen was totally caring, kind and just wonderful - not to mention a brilliant surgeon! Dr. Allen is the best as is HSS. I would never think of going anywhere else for any type of orthopedic surgery.
