Ellen Orgera, NP

Ellen Orgera, MSN, AGNP-BC, CCRN, is a Nurse Practitioner and a member of our Postoperative Care team.  She has served as a charge nurse at the Hospital for Special Surgery on our Step-Down and Orthopedic Specialty Care unit for over four years.  Her nursing background extends over 12 years in both emergency medicine and in the critical care setting.  She holds advanced certification in critical care as well.

Ellen has obtained her BSN at Adelphi University and her MSN at Stony Brook University.  She is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from ANCC and maintains her certified Critical-Care Certified Nurse from AANC.
