Your injury or pain may require an x-ray, MRI scan or another imaging test to confirm the diagnosis. All HSS Urgent Ortho Care centers have imaging on site.

An HSS doctor will conduct a phone screening to determine the best approach to treating your pain or injury. If the right option for you is in-person treatment, we will immediately schedule your appointment at an HSS Urgent Ortho Care location. We currently offer this service in New York City, Long Island (Uniondale), New Jersey (Paramus), Connecticut (Stamford), and Florida (West Palm Beach and Wellington).

If your pain or injury can be better treated through HSS Virtual Care or another option, we will connect you with the HSS specialist who can best meet your needs.

COVID-19 Precautions

  • Upon arrival for an appointment, patients will undergo a temperature check and a screening about recent travel, illness symptoms and exposure to others with diagnosed or possible COVID-19 symptoms.
