Heel Slides - Exercises After Right Posterior Total Hip Replacement
Purpose
- Strengthens the muscles that bend your hip
Starting position
- Lie on your back with your legs straight
Action
- Gently slide your heel toward your buttock
- Slide it back to the starting position
Tips
- Your hip should not bend more than 45°
- Do not sit up while performing this exercise
- If very difficult, start with fewer repetitions
