Assisted Knee Bending - Exercises After Left Partial Knee Replacement
Purpose
- Helps improve range of motion of your left knee
Starting position
- Sit up tall on a chair or on the side of a bed or firm surface with your thighs supported and your foot resting on the floor
Action
- Bend your left knee as far back as it will go
- Use your right leg on top of your left leg to help your knee bend slightly more, to your tolerance
- Return to the resting position
- Hold for 3-5 seconds, and then return to the starting position
Tip
- You may use a towel or paper towel under the left foot to help it slide
