Integrative Care Center (ICC)
The HSS Integrative Care Center (ICC), located on Madison Avenue at 59th Street, offers a wide spectrum of group classes including Pilates, Therapeutic Yoga, T’ai Chi, and OsteoFitness. Class sizes are small and designed to help you progress steadily and safely to your fitness goals.
Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Health
The Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Health Center was founded to help prevent and treat osteoporosis. The first of its kind in the nation, the Center specializes in a team approach that provides testing, counseling, and education, as well as comprehensive prevention and treatment plans for patients with or at risk for osteoporosis.
Spiritual Care Department
The HSS Spiritual Care Department is a testament to an important mission of the Hospital – caring for the spiritual needs of each patient. Spiritual Care can enhance your sense of security and feeling of hope with services ranging from prayer to food selections that you recognize as part of your religion. Whether you and your family are Jewish, Catholic, Protestant, Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, or have no religious affiliation, we are available to give support and comfort.

HSS Performance and Wellness provides multidisciplinary and comprehensive services to allow you to reach your ultimate performance levels while reducing your risk of sports-related injury. Through our state-of-the-art testing services, sports specific analysis programs, and training sessions, we can help you make your goals a reality. Public and Patient Education Department
Programs offered by the Hospital for Special Surgery's Public and Patient Education Department (PPED) provide expert advice on learning to move and exercise properly, as well as learning to enjoy the great feeling exercise can bring to your life. Diverse programming and practical information on musculoskeletal conditions and other health related topics of interest are offered to HSS patients and to the general public.
