Robert Williams, PT, DPT, CSCS in an Advanced Clinician Physical Therapist at HSS Florida Rehabilitation and Performance Center. In his 7 years as a professional, Robert has a large spectrum of treating athletic injuries. Robert is fellowship trained through the American Sports Medicine Institute and Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. Robert has experience treating athletes from the MLB, NFL, NBA, and a variety of NCAA men’s and women’s programs. Robert has lectured at national conferences, as well as co-authored various journal articles, on topics pertaining to shoulder/elbow injuries in the overhead athlete, as well as rehabilitation and return to play following ACL reconstruction. Robert has special interests in rehabilitation (post-operatively and non-operatively) of injuries to the overhead athlete such as rotator cuff tears, labral tears, and ulnar collateral ligament tears, as well as post-operative rehabilitation of various knee pathologies (ACL, meniscus, and cartilage restoration).
