Laurey is a Physical Therapist by way of New York Medical College and Boston College. She is a board certified Sports Specialist and completed a sports residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she worked closely with the Northeastern University Division I athletes. Laurey enjoys working with a diverse population and strives to help get people moving again, whether to chase their Olympic dream or their kids around the playground.
Laurey believes in a holistic approach to wellness and rehabilitation, influenced by her time working with combat athletes at the Olympic Training Center in Beijing. She is passionate about martial arts and serves as the combat sports chair in the APTA Tactical Athletes Special Interest Group. When she's not training in jiujitsu she enjoys playing golf, tennis, and ice hockey. She also enjoys running and has run a marathon in every city she has lived in.
