Lorene is a Clinical Specialist and occupational therapist. She enjoys working with children and their families to help improve their quality of life and function, especially for children with cerebral palsy and sensory processing disorder. She specializes in aquatic therapy as an adjunct to land based therapy services. Lorene serves as an adjunct professor at NYU’s Occupational Therapy department teaching master level students the fundamentals of pediatric practice. Additionally, Lorene works in HSS ALS clinics, focusing on adult neuro-rehabilitation, and is Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) certified. Prior to her time at HSS, Lorene worked at The Burke Rehabilitation Hospital, New York University's Hospital for Joint Diseases, and North Shore University Hospital at Glen Cove.
