  • As part of Providence College’s Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation, alumnus Jillian Rose (middle, pictured with her mother and sister), LCSW, MPH, Director of Community Engagement, Diversity & Research, Department of Social Work Programs at HSS, was presented with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Vision Award. This annual award honors individuals or groups whose scholarship, community engagement, leadership or service to others have advanced one or more of the principles that Dr. King embodied, including social justice, advocacy, equality, human rights, the promotion of faith and freedom of all people. #HospitalForSpecialSurgery
