HSS Stavros Niarchos Foundation Orthopaedic Seminar Program

The HSS Stavros Niarchos Foundation Orthopaedic Seminar Program, designed to teach Greek orthopaedic surgeons the latest techniques and innovations in orthopaedic surgery. The 2017 HSS Stavros Niarchos Foundation Orthopaedic Seminar Program, “Complex Primary of Total Knee & Hip” was held November 28–29 and is open to up to 16 Greek surgeons. The seminar includes a combination of didactic sessions, case presentations, and hands-on cadaver training workshops led by HSS Faculty. On November 30 –December 2, program participants attended the 29th Annual HSS Holiday Knee & Hip course, a CME-accredited professional education program that provides the opportunity to learn from over 25 HSS faculty and guest educators. 2018 application information will be posted at a later date.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be:

  • Greek orthopaedic surgeons currently practicing in Greece
  • Junior attending orthopaedic surgeons (less than 10 years in practice)

In addition:

  • Applicants may not have attended more than one previous HSS Stavros Niarchos Foundation Seminar Program.

Application and Selection Process

All interested Greek surgeons must apply to attend the Seminar Program. Please fill out the online Seminar Program Application.

Applications will be reviewed by the HSS faculty members of the HSS Stavros Niarchos Planning Committee. Up to 16 applicants will be selected to attend the program. Please have all materials including any English translations of documents submitted through the application link above by the due date.

We are no longer accepting applications for the current program year. Information for 2018 will be posted at a later date.
