You’ll want to start your New Year’s resolution early after reading this

New York Post reporter Molly Shea features 7 New Yorkers who raised the bar in 2016 to share some New Year's Resolution inspiration.

She writes about Christa Hartmann, 74, who didn't let a double hip replacement stop her from finishing her 16th NYC Marathon this past November. After her hip replacement with Alejandro Gonzalez Della Valle, MD, hip and knee surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery last year, she knew she couldn't sit still. She began training for the marathon under the watch of her surgeon.

"I do one minute walk, one minute jog. That makes me happier than sitting more and complaining," Christa says.
