In a recent article published by Darien Daily Voice, Jo A. Hannafin, MD, PhD, sports medicine surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, discusses rowing injuries.

"The majority of rowing injuries occur from training at high intensity, acceleration of training protocols without an adequate strength base and over-reliance on the rowing ergometer, an exercise machine that measures work done by a muscle or group of muscles," said Dr. Hannafin.
