Walk to support teacher's fight with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy on May 15

There will be a walk-a-thon in support of a local teacher's fight with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy on Saturday, May 15. The "Walk In Hope" 5K Run/Walk event will take place at the Spaulding High School track. The participant registration begins at 8 a.m. Sign up is at the registration tent on the Football field. The 5K run starts at 9 a.m. with the walk to immediately follow.

This is a benefit to raise money for Allison Leach's battle with RSD. Participants can register and receive their pledge form online at http://allisonsfightwithrsd.blogspot.com/.

The "Walk In Hope" walkathon will raise money for medical expenses for an upcoming innovative procedure with Daniel I. Richman, M.D., anesthesiologist and pain management specialist at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
