Timberwolves' Love cleared to play

Wolves forward will make final call on tonight's game

TwinCities.com—December 3, 2009

Timberwolves forward Kevin Love got the news hen has been waiting for, but he and Wolves coach Kurt Rambis are uncertain when he will make his regular-season debut.

Love was cleared to play by Wolves team doctors after a seven-week recovery from the broken bone he suffered in his left hand in the exhibition season.

Love received a positive report Thursday from the X-ray he had Wednesday. Hospital  for Special Surgery physician Andrew Weiland, who performed the surgery on Oct. 19, examined the results and informed Wolves doctors that the injury had healed enough for Love to resume playing.
