This Alternative Treatment Could Bring Pain Relief Without Pills

NBC Nightly News reports on a new NIH study that states alternative treatments can relieve pain without the need for prescription pills.

NBC came to the HSS Integrative Care Center to speak with Jeffrey Y. F. Ngeow, MD, Anesthesiologist at HSS, and his patient Judy Moran who he treats with acupuncture. Judy had been experiencing severe neck pain for years and was not finding relief with more conventional methods. 

Dr. Ngeow explains how acupuncture can cause you to feel pain differently.
