Becker's Hospital Review looks at the leaders behind the top 10 hospitals for adult orthopedics as ranked by U.S. News & World Report for this year.

They highlight Louis A. Shapiro who has been the CEO of Hospital for Special Surgery since 2006.

They note that in a March 2015 interview with Mr. Shapiro, he pinpointed two problems he would eliminate in healthcare: "I would like to see a massive reduction in the number of cumbersome and unneeded regulations, and then I would like to see Americans taking massive responsibility for their health. No smoking, exercising regularly, eating healthy and eradicating obesity."
