According to Dr. Ranawat, the hamstring injury that Ott sustained is a very unusual injury.

"You can hurt your hamstrings in three different areas," said Dr. Ranawat. "Most commonly, it's in the middle of the hamstring, which are muscle tendon junction injuries."
