In a recent article published by Prevention, Sabrina M. Strickland, MD, a sports medicine surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery, explains how she maintains her bone health.
Dr. Strickland notes, "I lift weights twice a week no matter what. Even if I'm traveling and only have access to a rudimentary gym, I spend 10 to 20 minutes doing resistance exercise to build muscle and maintain bone health."
