Orthopedics This Week featured a tribute to the late admired surgeon Richard H. Rothman, MD, PhD, founder of Rothman Orthopaedic Institute.

HSS surgeon-in-chief Todd J. Albert, MD, who was a longtime colleague of Dr. Rothman, said "to me he was a mentor, a best friend and my confidant. To those who were lucky enough to know him he was a shining example of what was possible with intellect, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the will to do the right thing for our patients."
